Role: Led engineering across 4 SAFe Agile Release Trains, covering 130+ people , including several roles: development, QA, product, analytics, agile and architecture. Owned technical backlog, technical standards, engineering delivery, people management, hiring, performance and salary reviews, promotions, and engineering budget for salaries, training, and tools. - Owned and governed the technical backlog across 4 ARTs, including prioritization, impact/confidence assessment, acceptance criteria, and final validation of technical initiatives. - Acted as author, product owner, and sponsor for strategic technical initiatives: Vault adoption, personal data protection, microservice and frontend templates, frontend architecture standards, configuration standards, backend standardization around Java, and migration of mathematical (business logic) components to IT engineering standards. - Defined technical standards, validated and approved ADRs, and drove teams toward consistent architecture, configuration, reliability, and delivery practices. - Scaled engineering capacity by hiring around 25 engineers of different levels within 4 months, personally leading hiring stages for key roles. - Promoted around 10 engineers, including Middle-to-Senior and Senior-to-Principal growth, while calibrating grade expectations and performance review standards across engineering. - Improved product SLA from 98% to 99.5% by building an incident management process, introducing postmortems and root cause analysis, implementing SLA measurement, assigning ART-level SLA ownership, and creating reliability roadmaps. - Reduced annual network costs by approximately $100K by changing the architecture of cross-region data flows. - Used agile delivery metrics to improve sprint and quarterly predictability, reduce unplanned work, and inform planning, prioritization, and team-level process changes.

Role: Technical Product Owner, effectively acting as a mini-CTO for three products Deion: Yandex 360 had three products: Tracker, Wiki and Forms. I was responsible for technical backlog and engineers coordination in teams. Key results: - hired 20+ engineers from scratch within 5 months - integrated these products into Yandex.360 billing system within 2 months (starting with only one engineer) - created and described a prioritized technical backlog/roadmap for next 6-9 months and aligned it with business stakeholders - defined a list of critical technical metrics and SLOs for the product teams Languages & technologies: Type, ReactJS, nodeJS, Java, Python, many internal Yandex technologies
