Junior Inżynier QA / Tester

Responsibilities: My responsibilities included performing manual testing of a website and a mobile application based on project documentation. I developed test plans, test cases, checklists, and test scenarios, including positive and regression testing. I conducted comprehensive and integration testing, as well as API testing using Postman. I performed test analysis and prepared test data for new releases, during which I worked with Python, JSON, and SQL for error analysis. I also developed and maintained automated tests. My role involved verifying the correct interaction between different system components and integrations. I created and updated project documentation and prepared instructions for the team. I wrote detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, using Jira for defect registration and tracking. I analyzed logs and user behavior to resolve defects, worked with test management tools and browser DevTools, participated in project management and task verification, and supported product architecture while working with version control systems. Achievements: I reduced production bugs by 30% by introducing checklists that considered related systems and integrations, based on six months of user behavior analysis, which significantly improved regression testing coverage. I also cut regression testing time by a quarter by introducing new structured test cases. Throughout my career, I consistently improved cross-team communication; for example, I gathered feedback from the development team to enhance bug reports, which halved the time needed to fix minor design defects. Additionally, on my initiative, detailed testing documentation with all instructions and scenarios was created, which accelerated new employee onboarding and reduced regression analysis time.
